Alexei K Pushkov, Ph.D. is Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, State Duma; Author & Anchor, “Postcriptum” (TV broadcasting company, TV Center) and Professor of Diplomacy & International Relations, MGIMO (University). He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1976, obtained a Ph.D. there in 1979 and later lectured in international relations. From 1988-1991, he was Foreign Policy Adviser and Speechwriter t0 General Secretary Michael Gorbachev.
